In short: we collect only what you send us when you get in touch, we use it to reply and to do the work you hire us for, we don't sell it, and this website runs no analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
1. Who we are
This website is run by HiveKlicks Private Limited (“HiveKlicks”, “we”, “us”), a digital marketing agency headquartered in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. We decide why and how the personal data described here is used, which makes us the Data Fiduciary for it under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Enquiry form. Your name, phone number, business name, the service you’re interested in, and anything you write in the message box.
Phone, WhatsApp and email. Your number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
Clients. Contact details of the people we work with, billing and GST details, and access to accounts you share with us, such as your Google Business Profile or ad accounts. Your proposal or agreement with us also applies to this.
Browsing the site. We don’t use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and the site doesn’t set cookies of its own. Like any website, the services that deliver our pages, fonts and scripts receive the technical details every browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested.
QuickAudit tool. If you use our free website checker, the web address you enter is fetched through third-party proxy services. Please don’t enter addresses that contain personal information.
We don’t ask for passwords, bank or card details, health information or other sensitive data through this website. Please don’t send them through the enquiry form.
3. Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal.
To deliver the services you’ve engaged us for, and to invoice you.
To keep the records the law requires, such as tax and accounting records.
To keep the website secure and working.
We use your data because you gave it to us for these purposes, and for records, because the law requires it. We don’t sell personal data and we don’t add you to marketing lists. If you’ve made an enquiry, we may follow up about it by phone, WhatsApp or email. Tell us to stop and we will.
4. Who we share it with
Only with service providers that handle it on our behalf, and only as far as they need to:
Web3Forms, which delivers enquiry-form submissions to our inbox.
Netlify, which hosts this website.
Google Fonts, cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr, which deliver the fonts and scripts the pages use.
Google Maps, which shows the map of our office on the homepage.
Our email provider, and WhatsApp (Meta) when you message us there.
Our professional advisers, such as our chartered accountant, and government authorities when the law requires it.
Some of these providers store data outside India. We use established providers with reasonable security safeguards, and we won’t transfer personal data to any country the Government of India has restricted.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
Client records: for the length of the engagement, then for as long as tax and company law require us to keep them (up to eight years for accounting records).
You can ask us to delete your data sooner. See section 7.
6. How we protect it
Every page is served over HTTPS, access to enquiries and client data is limited to the people who need it, and we use established providers. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we’ll inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
ask us to correct, complete or update it;
ask us to erase it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it);
nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to; and
raise a grievance with us.
Email info@hiveklicks.com from the address or number you used with us, or call +91 92960 23717. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Grievance Officer
Questions or complaints about how we handle personal data go to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge every grievance within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
HiveKlicks Private Limited, Muzaffarpur, Bihar 842001, India
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. This website isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect children’s data. If you think a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we’ll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If the way we handle personal data changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. See also our Terms of Use.
